What is the CatCon Code of Conduct?

CatCon’s mission is to spread joy and goodness to cats and the people who love them. With that in mind, we strive to create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for all of our participants: our guests, our exhibitors, our talent, and our sponsors, regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, race, color, or religion.

Participants agree to:

Be considerate in speech and actions and demonstrate respect for fellow participants.

Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech.

Harassment includes, but is not limited to:

Harassing or discriminatory speech, including racist, homophobic, transphobic, or sexist speech; bullying, intimidation, inappropriate physical contact, sustained or willful disruption of seminars, workshops, booth transactions, or other activities; unwanted photography or recording; and physical or verbal intimidation.

Harassment of convention participants will not be tolerated. CatCon participants violating this code of conduct may be removed from the convention without a refund, at the discretion of the convention organizers.

If you see something, say something

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or you have any other safety concerns, please contact CatCon staff immediately.

Thank you for helping us create a friendly and welcoming experience for all CatCon participants.
