New Year’s Resolutions – Feline Style!
It’s that time again, when you’re on a self-improvement kick and resolve to do things differently in the new year. Well, New Year’s Resolutions aren’t just for people. We asked some kitty friends what their resolutions were:
My NY resolution is to eat and sleep just a little more than last year.
Resolutions? I think I’ll stick with 1080 pixels since that’s the max that Instagram supports.
I received an Apple watch for my 13th birthday recently and it’s made me realize I spent much of the day not napping. So my NY resolution is to quit not napping.
New Years Resolution is to make a calendar, sell it and give all the money to kitties in need. – Fluffle Hood, Purrince of Thieves
We asked our Facebook fans what their cats’ resolutions were, too. (Does your cat have a New Year’s resolution? Let us know!)
“@BagheeraFun has a resolution to get on Ellen” – Christine B.
“Wear more bandanas.” – Red F.
“Ralf: losing some weight and try to be less stressed/anxious
Guili: trying to be more cuddly, less angry with the vet.” – Harmonie B.
“My cats want to stay Chonky.” – Fran N.
“Charlie: avoid feeder’s feet when in kitchen (me-owch). Isabelle: tickle owner more with tail. Ellie Doublepaws: Lose weight by doing warp speed more often.” – Thomas W.
“She thinks she is purrfect so no resolutions from her.” – Laurie D.
Team CatCon would like to wish you and your cat a very Happy New Year! We hope to see you at CatCon in August!
The health and safety of our human and kitty friends is CatCon’s #1 priority. Given the current guidance from state and city government around COVID-19, and for the safety of our attendees, staff, and talent, unfortunately we have no choice but to reimagine CatCon 2020, which was scheduled August 29th and 30th. We are exploring ways to bring some of the one-of-a-kind experiences, programming, and products you’ve come to expect from CatCon in a new and innovative way. Stay tuned for more information in the weeks to come.
