Cat Art Show LA 2: The Sequel features more than 70 globally-recognized artists including Mark Ryden, Norman Reedus (“The Walking Dead”), Marion Peck, Simon Tofield (“Simon’s Cat” and a CatCon 2015 alum),Travis Lampe, Walter Chandoha (“the Godfather of cat photography”), Mick Rock, Adam Wallacavage, and Kat Von D, among others. I asked each artist the question, what is the true meaning of cat for you—ally, domestic partner, enemy, frenemy, allergic reaction or guru? From that, each artist’s interpretation is unique and honest.

All of the artwork will be available for sale including both originals and limited editions. A portion of the proceeds will go to Kitten Rescue.

Thousands of people came to see the inaugural Cat Art Show, which was covered in Time Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, and Fast Company. This year we have a number of Cat Art Show artists who will also be joining us as vendors at CatConLA June 25 and 26, including Jason Edward Davis, Jenny Parks, Martin Hsu, Rob Reger, Rae Cook, and Sugar Fueled. Check out the full gallery here, and join us in person if you can!
