Holiday “Helpers” – 2025 Edition

We asked our friends and followers to share holiday photos of their kitties – these kitty elves aren’t always the most helpful, but their hearts are in the right place!
Under, on or IN the tree
“I put a bow on my cats head but I can never get a photo haha!” says Sarah B. So instead she sent this arty shot of “Chef” peeking out from under the tree!

“We have holiday toys, tunnels and tents,” says Elizabeth D.

“They each have a tiny stocking (most of which I sewed myself) with their names embroidered on them. They get hung on the mantle each year,” says Andrea.

Renee M. says, “The kitties get special treats and we try to wrap up some of their presents, but kitties are like young children, they don’t like to wait.”

“Love taking pictures of Macie in holiday outfits,” wrote Amanda. “Macie loves everything about the Christmas tree – so I put one in her bedroom. I also count down The 12 Days of Christmas with her. A gift everyday. Macie has her own advent calendars. Pretty much from Thanksgiving until New Year’s Eve Macie is one spoiled baby.”

“I try and get them a new holiday themed toy (this is my cat Jeff you don’t have a holiday picture yet of my other cats Maggie and Frankie )” says Miranda.

PURR-sonalized Decor
“My grandfather made a handcrafted wooden nativity scene so Baby Jesus and all the figures are in the crib and there’s an extra platform for my girl Zoe to sit on,” said Cait.

“He has his own Christmas tree,” said Ann of Maui the cat. He doesn’t seem very impressed by Rudolph, though!

Misty Moo, who is the CatCon Muse’s cousin, melts hearts, not snowmen!

PAWliday Greetings
“We send out a Christmas card every year with all the animals included,” says Lily.

Kitty’s First Christmas!
“She’s the punk detective and will taste all the Christmas decorations before we place them on the tree or other places,” says Alexandra about her kitty Catalina.

Team CatCon wishes you and your kitties a very Happy Holiday Season!
