The Fam

Some kitties are lucky enough to have doting grandparents, aunties and uncles, and can look forward to extra scritches and cuddles this holiday.

Turkey (duh!)

Cats are carnivores, so avoid giving them stuffing and bread rolls. The star of the meal for everyone is the turkey, which you can share in moderation (and without the bones, please!).

If kitty has an upset stomach, plain canned pumpkin (NOT pumpkin pie mix) can help. It contains healthy ingredients like potassium, calcium, vitamins A, C, and K.

Toys

Even simple toys can keep cats entertained for hours! A toilet paper tube or an empty tissue box can be a fascinating object to investigate, or hide some kibble inside and it becomes a puzzle toy. Cat in a Flat has four easy DIY toys you can make.

A quiet place to get away from it all

Even the most sociable pets need some time to rest and recharge from all the excitement. Chewy has the cutest cat houses that do double duty as holiday decor and a cozy hideaway.

Team CatCon wishes you and your kitty a very Happy Thanksgiving!
